Trailer Film Detachment - Henry Barthes (Adrien Brody) adalah seorang guru pengganti yang tidak ingin memiliki hubungan emosional dengan murid atau rekan kerjanya. Inilah sebabnya kenapa ia tidak pernah lama menetap di sebuah tempat. Kini, Henry mengajar di sekolah publik dengan murid-murid yang memiliki beragam masalah besar. Walau Henry memiliki masa lalu yang tidak begitu indah, namun kali ini ia harus menciptakan hubungan emosional dengan para siswa, rekan guru dan remaja bermasalah. Henry akhirnya menyadari bahwa ternyata bukan hanya dia yang mendambakan kebahagiaan dan cinta di dunia ini.

Henry Barthes (Adrien Brody) is a substitute teacher who conveniently avoids any emotional connections by never staying anywhere long enough to form a bond with either his students or colleagues. A lost soul grappling with a troubled past, Henry finds himself at a public school where an apathetic student body has created a frustrated, burned-out administration. In finding an emotional connection to the students but also to fellow teachers and a runaway teen, he finds that he's not alone in a life and death struggle to find beauty in a seemingly vicious and loveless world.
